head unit problems

ok, so me and my friend rewired his harness in his car. it's a 92 honda civic. we had all the power stuff hooked up right, and we hooked up the back speakers, and they worked. so we hooked up the front ones, illumination wire, remote, and the rca's for the sub. hooked up the head unit, and no sound from the speakers. the head unit powered on, and the cd was playing, but nothing. so what happened from the rear speakers working, to nothing at all? we tried 2 different head units, a brand new one, and the old one that worked before.

a wire on the fronts could be grounding out...that will cause all the speakers to stop working...

something changed in ur wireing. list what wire from the factory to the deck and let's go from there

but we unplugged the front speakers and left the rear ones, and they still didn't work. we unplugged it in let it sit for about 20 minutes to see if it was in protect mode or something, and still nothing

something ground out and blew the output on ur deck...if u can test some new speakers, or even new deck
