Head Unit not getting power

Yesterday I was installing my sub and amp in my car and when all the wiring was done I started my car only to find my head unit and my cd changer (which I spliced into the wiring harness for my head unit) were not turning on. The only thing that I did to the wiring for my HU yesterday was to splice into the remote for the amp. Does anyone have any idea what the problem might be? I checked the fuses they are all fine and I didn't see any wires that might of been pulled out or damaged. I'm really stumped on this one. Any help would be great.

PS. Everything else in my car works its just the HU thats not getting power.

Actually I brought the car into my work today and had one of the installers fix it. Turns out something got messed up with the constant power cable, so we spliced in another one and it works fine now.
