in my opinion the best bang for your buck is kenwood excelon. they have the bet sound quality and features for the money you spend. I think the new model number is x591 and it has 4 volt preouts, ipod cable already installed so no extra buy, the sub controle you wanted and other features. I have the x590 and I am very pleased with the sq and stability of this deck. it should be in your price range.

For rely nice ipod controls look at the alpines there controls for ipod are rely nie plus they are nice quality as well.
