Head light dimming

I got a 2009 impala 3.5 running a 800 watt boss amp and two 6.5 massives off 4 gauge wire. Didn’t have a problem when running this set up in my old truck but put in my car and head lights dim pretty bad when bass hits. Any tips or ideas on what I can do to fix this?

Wow that's a whole bunch of suckage in a nice ride. No easy answer really ( least not for you). The newer Imp has less room for add ons. You'll need to increase efficiency with better gear and looking into more output from the cars electrical system.

hes actually probably going to want to check his ground wires. the ols truck had a bigger alt and battery. get an AGM battery, im sure thatll help a LOT

yeah u sholudn't be dimming at all with "amp" fyi boss 800watt = 180rms or so i have no light dimming with 1150rms 04 grand prix.. see if ground has paint under it and make sure it's tight.. also gain can't be at like 90% either.. anytime u would like to upgrade we can show much much much better amp for not all that much $, one of our members test amps check out his utube channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCglLe6GVa1SN1IQ6M8LoGMw
