THE WHOLE THING!!!
Quite often those shows are ones that are closer for the majority of the team, thus we go to those instead. I can tell you right now that madison is a hell of a lot farther than gary for 90% of DOA, plus to be honest they are just a lot of fun. Don't get me wrong, I love jeremy's shows, but sometimes we like to do the closer shows at fun venues that we know pepole whom we usually never see will be at. Do people get beaten badly? Sure, but 99% of the time they do it with a smile on their face as they get a demo afterwards. Hell, I embarrass people on a monthly basis at the MECA shows I do when I do a 152+ with the single 10" while guys with 2 12's barely crack a 140, 2 15's not even a 145, and so on. They don't come at me hating, they come at me asking how to get louder.
DOA doesn't care about equal or unequal playing fields. Hell, half the time they don't even care about the show. Plenty of DOA guys will go to the show just to hang out and not even compete. I know I have. People get hung up on numbers vs. numbers and forget about having some fun.
