By daily I'm saying that they weren't necessarily built for competition in mind. They were designed to play music and demo. I never said much about your setups because I never saw anything that said "burp only" to me, especially being tuned where you are.
Now the chevette and the caravan, on the other hand, were/are burp vehicles.

But really though, why can't DOA use their setups the way they want? I don't see the problem in that. Plenty of other guys with setups just as crazy as DOA will never, ever go to a "real" competition because frankly they are just a waste of time and money for the average person. We aren't average people. We have a drive to compete and win, while most of DOA couldn't care less. It's just the way it is.

Dropfest I can't comment on. I know a few guys did it in 2009 and had intentions to do it last year, but beyond that I can't say anything. I can never get up there because June is a bad month for me work wise along with prior engagements.

Hopefully things will lighten up as the year goes on.

Who in Wisconsin really "builds" for numbers besides Mikes CRX and Geoffs Van? I think everyones really tuned for daily as far as I can think of. Playing field is really as even as it gets imo. You have more knowldege on somethings then some people in Wisconsin, some people in Wisconsin have more knowldege on things then you. Thats just how it is. There is no unfair advantage, that to me is just an excuse.

As for my chevette, buick, and civic, none of them were EVER at a show besides the civic once, in which the car wouldnt start, and leaked gas, ****** fluid, and coolant and could not even be parked in the parking lot, and then was dropped off at the junk yard that night. So to compare "comp" vehicles I never used at a comp, doesnt that make them daily? Hell I drove the buick for a whole winter bumpin it almost (two) one hour drives each day for four months. And the Chevette was to just get the ladies as school, drove to class in it every day for almost two semesters... never once saw a show... how is that not just as daily as mikes? Hell it had less batteries, lower tuning, lower power.

And about my maturity level, I feel I have to drop to the level of my opponents. If most all of team DOA wants to slander my name on their facebook pages and in status's and posting on each others walls on facebook... and unfriend me :'( lol. Atleast I will keep the immaturity in this forum, on the topic in which they chose to jump into.

PS les must be a smooth talker to land a cutie like that, smooth talking and trash talking have a positive coorelation i suppose?

Competition brings out the worst in people... as seen here. Thats why I don't go to any shows. The drama gets deep.

Like I said, sometimes people say things in haste and later realize that they won't be able to make it. It happens. How often I really can't say because I don't remember too often people saying they will DEFINITELY be there and then not show up. I do recall a lot of maybes, hopefullys, planning on it, etc.

See, thats why I don't understand why there's all this beef between WI and IL. There's a lot of daily builds on both sides so idk why people think someone should be louder than someone else. Seems to be a lot of trash talking on both ends and I really don't know why. Perhaps it's because DOA isn't interested in doing shows and others see that as them backing down?

You don't have to drop to the level of your opponents. If anything somebody should take the high road that way not everyone looks like idiots, which is what I feel is going on right now.

Lets see, my cadillac was a wall I built by myself, not that I had built by someone elses assistance, and was my first wall built.The cadillac was also pushed by 2 tiny american bass 150.1s not 2 audioques 3500s wired down with a peak freq of 50hz.

I have never called the products your team uses garbage or even insulted you guys.

How ever I did call your team of 30 members out becuase you can never come to a real competition unless its within 30 minutes driving it seems.

And yes, I already know what your going to say, you guys dont like cheap plastic trophies, or you guys dont care about numbers, or there is a "hood show", or Patrick is running a knock off show, or us WI guys are only made because we are sick of competing against each other (even tho none of are in the same class, but it sounds like a good excuse to you).. One of those usually seems to be the reasoning for team doa.

It just be nice to have locals goto shows and support them, and try to get things bigger and better, and with Team DOA member base almost double of the competitors in WI it could help things out a lot!

But yea who cares about numbers, numbers mean nothing about how loud it is, just ask pwk..... Wait you obviously care about loudness or you wouldnt have a wall..

Time and Time again Team DOA says we are going to this show replying the night before saying yeah we will be there.

But the day of the show comes and none show up

Well I can't speak for the rest of Wisconsin but here is how I see it. DOA will go to "hood" shows. Which is cool I do to, so do many of us up here. But to go beat up on the little kids with setups doing 155-160, which is just humiliating. Then not show up to a show same distance (Madison,Wi as example, and Gary,In) with competition that would actually be on an equal playing field. To me it says something, maybe im getting the wrong message though? Looks like to me people wont pick on people their own size (class). But time and time again its been the same thing over and over. Not like its one show, then id never have fallen to that judgement.

And your right Tommy, sometimes I do drop to a level which makes me look just as bad as others. I appreciate you calling me out on it. Just find it immature to make wall posts and what not, felt my act was much more kind in a sense.

Thats what I like to hear, good to see some comp. Mind me asking what classes yall aiming for? Im guessing Tommy is in ss5+ or is he ss3-4?
