I searched and didn't find what i was looking for on the topic. Quick and simple; which sub is going to be a better daily driver/street beater (rap/drum and bass) in the hatch of an rsx? powered by a zx1500.1 in a ~4ish^3 box. Pros and cons of both subs?

id say hdc3. should sounds better. dont know much about l7 except there square and i heard they like to blow for no reason out of the blue. SIDS!!!!!!

I have a little bit of experince with the 15'' L7 (2006 model, black cone) and i know they can take a good amount of power and keep wanging, so thats not a concern of mine.

L7 would beat it any day better quality and sq.
Really? I was under the impression the L7 had about the worst SQ out there. I had one and hated it was really muddy sounding (on recommended power) I was actually looking into a 12" HDC3 for my next woofer but def looking for more SQ over the L7s

noooo, not the worst, definately not the best but in a good encloser they sound pretty good and get pretty low

expect a build log for a zx1500.1 and a 15'' hdc3 around the end of this month //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif
