HDC3 12 power?

there rated @ 1000.. but we all know thats a load of horse ****.. sub will be in a 2.5ft^3 for the sub after all displacements, im guessing somewhere tuned around 35.. what kind of power would you guys throw at it DAILY, this being for 30 mins in the morning, 30-45 mins at night.

Aq has said that yhe hdc3s can handle the 2200 a piece

Any amp from 1-2k should be fine. They can handle the power no doubt. Ran a 2200d when I had it, and it took it like a champ.

LOLOLOLOL, not enough... long story short, need my bed for a lot of things and as much as i love my blowthrough i cant have it and use my silverado as a truck day in and day out:verymad:

ive got more space to work with, not ALOT but ive got more space, dont see why i couldnt easily get 3.5 out of the center console.. ram designs said it would be ideal for running around 1200-1400 watts on it. whatre you suggesting for box space?

That box is fine but Id drop the tuning a bit... It wont need much more then rated in that box to reach its full potential though...

2.5 or 3.5 cu feet box?

and yeah i was thinking the same thing.. i want it at around 33-34 hz

thats just what ill do then, ill post pics when its all done.. gonna do the HDC towards the back, port to the passenger side, then grille over that. maybe plexi somewhere? but definitely gonna do cupholders with my EQ dropped in the middle, bass knob molded in somewhere, voltage meter, and some other switches for ****.. maybe a SMD VU din just for the hell of it too. we'll see.. but thanks for the info man
