not on the new 07 Solo X cones, some have seen .3 to a full 1.0 db increase over the older 2004 cones.

RD spl elite is relabeled Atomic APX... basically it's an SJA build. I hear that Pro Comp and RD use higher quality steel though which does make a difference in motor strength effecting output a little //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif and probably cone control so SQ may be slightly better also. BUT I have only heard this... never used one. only Atomic I've owned was a 1st gen AP 12" and it was decent. pretty hard to blow for sure. Wrong. Higher quality steel has LESS magnetic capabilities than lower quality.

On topic: Go with the AQ. Price compared to output is amazing.
