hdc12 vs solo-x 12, vs re mx12

That's theo rder for me, set correctly and in the proper box, I honestly think the HDC3 will take that 2500 rms daily with no problem, especially after you figure in imp rise on the amp

HDC3 will get you loud as piss, be the cheapest alternative as well

That'd be my goal.

how much you have to spend? i can get you an RD audio elite SPL... its an output monster and really efficient(unlike the HD/9500)

hm i dont really know if i dare to go with rd.. i dont know or heard anything of them.. the aq on the other hand is loved by all i think..? and if it take 2000rms daily thats good.. how much power does people give them? i have searched but dont really find anything.. but everyone agree with that its hdc312>3512e?

RD spl elite is relabeled Atomic APX... basically it's an SJA build. I hear that Pro Comp and RD use higher quality steel though which does make a difference in motor strength effecting output a little //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif and probably cone control so SQ may be slightly better also. BUT I have only heard this... never used one. only Atomic I've owned was a 1st gen AP 12" and it was decent. pretty hard to blow for sure. for the price , get the aq......and i wouldnt say the aq/dd's are inefficient its all in the box..... i just got a new 9518g and its deffinatly not inefficient................lol..........

IMO I would go with a DD9512 if you can swing it. I have ran several and had great luck with them and they will take a beating. I just bought a 9912. The SOLO X is also a great sub that will take 2500 Daily but if it were me I'd go DD. It's mostly gonna come down to ur box and install in the end any way.

what do you think about the solo-x? ive heard couple of guys said that the suspension gets soft unusual fast on them..

8 layer flatwound aluminum coils aren't a joke. I think a hdc3 can hang with or top a solox.
