HD radio - is it worth it?

I just got a new JVC in-dash and I was thinking about picking up the HD adapter for $90. Anyone ever use HD radio and if so, would it be worth the $90? Im thinking for road trips to get more stations and just better quality here in south FL.

they are worth it as long as you have enough local stations using it

X2 I am a sirius guy I love there stations and all I would cough up the money and go that way. Even though there future is unclear right now.

Heard it, wasn't impressed.

Regular FM can sound great, if the engineer gives a **** and doesn't go compressor-happy...or hell, if they have an on-site engineer at all these days.

cool guys! i think yall might have just saved me $90. I do have alot of stations in the area broadcasting in HD but if it doesnt get more stations AND ive read it actually covers less distance than FM signal, its a no-go.
