Hawaii Trucks > Mainland Trucks

depends on ho you look at it...... numariclly(sp) higher gives you more toque but most people such as myself prefer to say lower gears just because it makes more since
they dont give you more torque. that is too bland of a statement. they give you the same amount of torque, just at a different rpm range. the argument between horsepower and torque can go on for days. more power can carry tall gears as well as less power can pull 5.72s in the mud. personally i would split the gears in the middle and have huge power and 4.10's. but that is all a personal preference.

I'm going to start building up my 94 explorer skwurly. Expect PM's from me on here and DR for technique info and such. Hahah.
I had a white 94 explorer with the 4.0 v6 a couple years ago. Unfortunatley I totalled it before I got to build it but they are exactly the same as a Ranger pretty much. Everything that fits on a rangers front end will fit on an Explorer, so parts are easy to come by. Fiberglass in the rear is kinda a ***** cuz you have to cut body panels and flush the glass to the doors to make it look right. And sometimes it's hard to get a lot of travel out of the rear because it's not a pickup, but you can cut out the floor or some companies have come out with a cantilever (sp?) systems now so you can pull 16-18 inches with bypasses yet still keep everything under the rear floor. HIt me up with any questions you got and I'll be glad to help you out.

ha, just saw about an 00 F150 at one of the parking lots at school today. converted to straight front axle and 4-linked. saw a brand new 4 linked jeep yesterday with dynatrack front and rear ends under it. thats all i could tell from it driving down the road. but my gf's dads crawler still looked better and was much mroe hard core. so still, as far as ruggedness, usability, and overall quality, mainland trucks still pwn the fuk out of hawaii trucks.

It's about time they came out with shocks you didn't have to hack up the bed and install a second frame just to run them. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Although it looked pretty cool having coilovers poking out of the bed, and it makes a nice place to bolt a spare tire. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif

im sorry your so butthurt that I have a nice car I dont have to pay for. My father and mother both do very well, and want us to live a good life. It wont be that way forever. Im trying to find a better job than some 6 or 7 dollar an hour gig right now. Something like inventory for a larger company, or something where I actually have a desk, and my own deal. I make decent money off of plans and installs here in town and do well for myself for every day needs. I dont make enough to pay my car note and insurance, but dont think my parents dont get what money I can give them. Other than that, I don't care what you think as you dont know the whole story. Maybe your folks shoulda stepped up and tried making some real cash, so there kid wasnt such a ****in toolbag when he learned what the internet was. People that realize the internet is just that, and not real life are by far cooler than anyone like you //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif. Jealous little ****.

what are you 19-20 and still dont have a decent job? your feet hurt too much to work hard, you cry when ppl call you out, you whine about the lack of paying install jobs, but tell everyone about sanctioned events at your local CC. maybe they dont hire you cuz you dont know jack! my folks are pretty well off, but never put it out there like that. we were working at the age of 8 at the family business and in high school i had my own install biz at the house and worked in a retail store. i have never had my folks pay for a car and i am 25 and owned 9 cars. the last 5 of which have been customized from bags and bodydrops to candy and big wheels. now i have my daily truck on some 32's and my stang. get over it man you have more than once let it slip that you are a spoiled fat brat.
