Hawaii anyone???

So, we're already beginning to plan our vacation for next winter... and we're pretty sure we're going to head out to Honolulu for a week.... only thing is, i've never been there on vacation tho... so, just wondering if any of you guys have, what you gotta say about it??

suggestions on what to do? dislikes? anything you guys can think of... we already know where we're staying, so thats the only advice i dont need... but anything else would be appreciated.

and yes, i do expect a fair amount of trolling, but i'd appreciate it if this doesnt get a 5 page long troll, or butthurt going on

i went awhile ago. Personally, beaches and hot weather aren't my cup of tea, so I can't say too much, but there's lots of stuff to see and do, the beaches are quite nice, and there's lots of night life.

Weather? Likely in the 70's and humid as all heck, with tons of ridiculous rain showers that come and go quickly.

Overall i'm sure you and the mrs. could take a nice relaxing vacation there and have a great time.

Went to Kauai a few years back and loved it. Thankfully the lady that we rented our apt. from had a list of all kinds of free stuff to do that you'd never know about unless you either lived there or paid out the butt for guides. My advice is limit the "tourist trap" stuff and really look for where the locals eat and go for fun.

yea, the wife originally wanted to go to disney, but i convinced her hawaii instead. I swear bro, i'm prolly the only husband who has ever had to convince his wife to go to hawaii, lol...

but the hot weather and beaches is my thing, you know... i know after another year of living in this shit weather, i'm goin to need a nice, relaxing vacation, lol...

anything in particular that you enjoyed doing??? we're trying to figure all that out, cuz the sooner you get your reservations, the less dough you fork out.

yea, i'm used to that... we just moved to DC from miami a year ago... and when we first moved down there, i couldnt even lay down for like 2 weeks, cuz i was so dam burnt, lol
