Having trouble bridging channel Amp

Ok I do not understand what the problem is.

I have a MB Quart PAB 4100

I want to bridge it to 2 channels (200 x 2 RMS)

Sounds simple

I wired the speakers to the outside terminals of channels 1/2 and 3/4 just as the diagram shows below the speaker terminals

Here is the problem - there is no left / right balance

No matter what I put the HU to (all left or all right) it is the same out of the speakers.

It seems to being doing summed mono

I have the RCA's from the HU on to channels 1 and 2

I also tried using channels 1 and 3

Anyone have any experence with this?

May need to check to see if you have a selector switch on back of HU FROM REAR TO SUBWOOFER??//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif Just a suggestion

I was using this amp to run my front stage at 100 x 2 and had the rear channels bridged 200 x 1 on a JL Sub

I added another amp for my subs and now just want to run the 4 channel amp as a 2 channel amp for my front stage.

I will have a little bit of time to look at it this morning, hopefully I can figure it out.

figured it out

Need to have 2 channel / 4 channel input switch to 4 channel

Need to have RCA's on channels 1 and 3

Everything works fine now.

Instruction Manual doesn't even cover any of that.

Sounds pretty good, still need to tune everything but getting better and better.
