Wow this has been an on-going 2 month issue with my amps. I have an ma audio 1889i Subwoofer amp. I also have a hifonics zeus zxi 6406 amp. Optima rep top 4 gauge coming off of that to a distrobution block, 8 gauge into each amp (i just bought the kicker 0 gauge kit so thats coming) Both amps turn on, but looks like not that much power, and the subwoofer amp works. The hifonics goes into "protect mode" with a red light. All i do is disconnect the ma and badabing in great buisness with the hifonics. Its getting retarted, a couple of you said maybe my rem wire needed a relay, so i bought an automotive relay, what do i do about the on off switch terminal? I tried to hook it up and just leave it bare and it didn't send the power to my amps. Thanks all

well, i saw manuals for single amp setups. I will look into dual amp setups.. this is some king of sick joke. More input please //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

if anyone has diagrams because i cant find one. Its not rocket science i didn't think it wouild be this difficult.. 0 gauge to distro 4 gauge to each amp.. 4 gauge grounds, rem wire splt into each amp. The ground are just going to the same place, no distro block, do i need one? this is RACKING MY BRAIN

whats the voltage when both amps on???if im reading correctly when te sub ampis on the hifonics goes into protect but when off it plays normally??

u have a weak battery or an alt that cant keep up with that much current flow.. is there any difference when engine on? how big is your alternator?

has to be a weak battery.

I have an optima red top battery. Same shit when the engine is on, only i think your right about the power because I have what are called underdrive pullies which take away from the output of the alternator to accessories ( guy before me put them on ) i have a 150amp alternator coming tomorrow.. is that big enough? Ill do the big 3 tonight i keep forgetting..

i dont have a voltage meter. When i hook up the capacitor (which hopefully helps) it will read the voltage from the battery for me. I am also going to get overdrive pullies for my alternator, give that thing some **** juice. Without music, if i blast the heat, headlights, and try to put the windows down, the car dies //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
