Thats a prescription antibiotic, not over the counter. They gave it to me when I had Staph Infection on my face.

Amoxicillin is not regulated for use in fish tanks. Do a little research, fish are treated with the same antibiotics humans are. You can buy 250 mg or 500 mg capsules of either amoxicillin or tetracycline perfectly legally, as long as it's labeled for use in fish tanks. Amazon.com has them for 15 bucks for 100 capsules.
