oh so recently i've been going deep into the old skool video game world, since nothing new seems to amaze me anymore...

i guess i've been spending more time playing Test Drive 2 - The Duel, Need for Speed 1, Streets of rage, Golden Axe, Toe Jam & Earl, World Of Illusion than i spend masturbating myself... but i realize something was different this time.... i just CAN'T play these games as well as i could before... i used to be the devil on those games and now i can't finish any of them... i could end up Streets Of Rage 3 times a day and now i've tried 2 times in a row and i had game over on both times =[

therefore the question: Have we lost our video game skills?

well i think YES....

my explanation for ti: i think new video games dont have the challenge old skool games had... let alone the fun we had before playing our old games so we don't dedicate ourselves and we don't get into the game as much as we used to... alright, so who never played Simpsons brawl game on arcade with friends? remember we used to do our best and play cooperatively to win the game together... now it's all so plain and simple and repetitive... *bang* you killed the enemy: all right let's move on... *bang* you're dead: alright just let me push the spacebar and respawn on the same place i died and move on

wtf is the sega megadrive?

are you for real? it's the Sega Genesis version sold in Europe/South America and other countries... they are exactly the same video game thou, but one is NTSC and other is PAL (i could be wrong on this thou)

i remember mega drive had some plastic on the cartridge slot that prevented a sega genesis cartridge to be inserted into it, but all i had to do was to cut the plastic shit and it always worked perfectly //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

super metroid and all the mega man Xs for me. battletoads and double-dragon was pretty cool as were the earthworm jims, as mentioned.

booger-man and the beavis and butthead game were also very fun.

king of the monsters 1 & 2. i was also quite fond of the games with the cheeto cat.
