Have a quick ?

I went from a reg cab S10 to a 2 door Blazer. I had a box built to fit behind the seat of the s10. So its close to the .6 for the sub i have in my sig. Now my question is....would i get better sound if i went to a 1-1.2 box? Also do you think it should be ported or not?
