I lived down there /grew up in the area.I use to go to Jacks Car Stereo,Not sure if it is still there, but he knows his s h i t!! Not to say the kids he may hire, but I know for a fact he does.I havent been down there in yrs.so not sure he is still in buisness, but???He was the best around of 50miles that I could remember, and that is where I bought most of my Old school Autoteks, and Hifonics.I was there when they were first hooking up a VII Pluto on a pair of 12s, and shook the blg! LOL!!Those were some good times!!

JAcks is still here, theres actually one in temple and killeen also..... They want like 200 or so for a ported box i think, they wanted 150 for a basic small sealed box

just get your box plans and goto your local Lowes...then buy a sheet of MDF...then while your at the panel saw waiting to get it cut......tip the guy an extra $20 to take a little extra time to make precise cuts...if you dont theyll just run it through and can be 1/2 inch or so off...but if you tip them they put fourth extra effort to get it right because thats like 2 hours pay for the guy....that way for about $50 bux total all you have to do is assemble....when you get home...and then enjoy

Will they cut the circle out on my front board too? Like for the sub, and my recess ring??? That would be really cool

Man thinking about it...Thats really not too bad for the ported,being built by specs, and tuned.They will do it rt too.Youll get your moneys worth there.Itll be done rt though.

I think my and my builder are going nutz on a box in a few weeks. Apparently he needs me to get 2 gallons of fiberglass resin and hes going to make the inside retarded smooth and get rid of all corners and edges.

Last night i also gave told prorabbit how i wanted my box and we talked a bit. He was plying with designs last night but i havnt heard from him in about 25hrs now. Idk whats going on, i have several designs in the air hahaha waiting to see what im gunna do

I got quoted here in Mesquite, and I believe it to be a pretty fair deal, for 4-tens 1000rms DVC2ohm all in different chambers @ 1.8cu ft ported and tuned @ 32hz.I was going to try to do myself, but got a quote for $350 to do.So they have the cad program,Laser cutter/and are going to have to build it from inside the x-cab, and not outside and placed in.So Im thinking pretty good deal, being built by specs different chambers, and ported,tuned, and sealed properly, no stress on my end,and will be completed in a day??So that $350 is looking pretty darn good at this point.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/awesome.gif.4430a219d9aaaa6cadc75e9290979dfb.gif

He is prob pretty busy at the moment man.We all get that way, and he prob taking some time looking and figuring out what would best work for you , and easiest to fab up for you.So he will let you then.Hes prob got like 20 others wanting rt NOW to ya know?Id be stressed out man throwing stuff with that many things/builds going on..LOL! Just be patient man,it may be worth it?Apparently so, as Ive heard nothing but good, and pleased individuals on here from his work.

Man I hate working w fiber Glass..UHHHH! Ive always hated it! Sure looks nice finished though

Man..If you want to play..You have to pay...as they may say..Looks like it may be time to make some sacrifices to start saving up...I suggest Ramon Noodles, and Peanut butter and Bread man, for about a month, and you should have the funds for a great box.Hell I used my Ipod with earphones till I got the funds together to buy what I needed.Even though I had speakers hooked up to HU, it still sounded like TRASH!, so Ipod it was.

Yea thats what i figured. He knows what i want and im sure it will turn out good. I just like to go over every option possible lol

So since im using rabbit design i prob wont be doing any fiberglass, but cory does all that anyways lol i dont mess with it
