has anyone heard of Kove?

i've been looking for a system for a while. I'm getting my car in 2 weeks, and i wanna get a system for it that can be heard from pretty far away...however i can't really hear any of the subs because no one has them setup, they just have them in their stores. So i'm stuck between a pair of 12W3, Alpine's Type-Rs, 2 15 L7's(I've got a friend that can hook me up with them for 300, but isn't positive.), or i just heard of these Kove's. The guy said that the 12's he had were relatively close to the W3's. Oh, and money is a factor. I want to try to keep it under $1500, and i want to be heard from far far away, without blasting my system. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

I was in a PT cruiser that had 4 kove armagedon 15's it hit hard as hell they are nice speakers . 1500 for the whole system ? 1500 for sub s and amp would be nice then i would say CV stroker and a earthquake D2 should be able to hear ya coming .have you ever been in a car with a big system to be able to hear you coming from far far away its almost unbearable to drive around with it like that

no, sorry i meant 1500 for the entire system. and i want to get an HU with 3 4 volt preouts...i don't know how much those cost...?

the zeb has a fosgate HU with 3 sets of 5 volt outputs for $335 thats prolly one of the cheapest 3 sets 4+ volt output HU you'll find

hey man yea i have heard of kove. they are awesome as hell. the dealership in my town sells them. the best koves are the armageddon series K, M, Z, and U2...U2 is the biggest they make. they make KLD which won an award from car audio and electronics magazine. KEW's are the SPL speaker from them...they kick ass. but if your lookin for some awesome Koves go with the Z's or if you have enough money get the bad ass U2's...i would give you the specs but im not at home right now...ill do that later on.

D$@& dood you have $1500 to spend on a system, thats kinda nice, if i were you i would go with a clarion head unit, prolly the dxz615 or the dxz715. they are really good HU's with 3 4v preamps and you can get them for about 185-205 w/ shipping on ebay or a good site. and then you can get a good pair of components for 150-200, good 6x9's for about 125-150, a 4 ch amp for 150-200, that leaves you 745-890 for subs and amps, so you could get 2 jl w3's and a jbl 600.1 amp for about 540 or 4 w3's and a jbl 1200.1 amp for about 980.
