hardwiring deck

ok well i get thro his dash for a harness and its not to be found, the people who owned his jeep(92 jeep wrangler) did a number on it i fixed a couple thing.

Anyways im gonna have jus wire everything stright to the deck, but ive dont it before so eveyrthing i need to do tell i know i need

Fused power wire going to the battery

Ground

+ and - from both speakers

Now i know im missed somting but i can figure out what it is.

Any advice welcome

as far as i know that is all you are missing.

i dont have a clue which wire this would be in that jeep so take a DMM and check the wires in the dash, you want to find one that gives 12v with the ignition on and nothing with it off.

you would wire it to the switched ignition lead on the headunit.

the manual for the head unit should say which one this is.

nice thansk man, bad thing i dont have DMM anymore. ill jus take it to a shop and see if they will find it for me

By the time you pay a shop to do that, you could have just bought a new DMM.

hopeing i can jus talk em int finding it for freee lol. If not then ill go buy a DMM

Go pick up a a small wired 12v light bulb (diode?) (Radio shack) Ground one side and check fuses with the key on and if it lights up turn key off (If the fuses are not labled that is)

If there labled find the radio fuse and follow the wire (Or patch into it ) . That will be your radio turn on wire through ignition .
