how did they sound with that kind of power. i think in my dads car i am going to be doing three 8w7 with like 1100 watts, just to be different. i have to see if he has the room to do them properly though.

you can get one for about 260, i think there are some re 8's as well as some RL's

I got the W7s for just a shy bit over $300 (each) with full warranty. Another good one (not available yet) is the redesigned RL-i 8". If the redesign of the SoundSplinter 8 is as good as the first, then it will be a good contender for a lower price point (not sure the final price point yet though).

Very smooth, all the way up with the exception of rattling in the rear quarter deck of the car. Just two off of 500W is da mn fine for a DD... three would be getting up there with 1100W.
