Hard hitting with room

Ey, i have a 99 ram ext. cab. I want the hardest hitting system i can have, however, i still want people to be able to sit in the back seats. I Drew up a daigram of a custom box that sits in the middle of the back seats like steps. Two alpine R's fireing forward at a 45 angel. The box will probably be ported and if i can ill have some of that foam that makes the subs hit harder. Ill also have a Hifonics Bx1000D to power them. Any other suggestions?

are you going to fiberglass the box? or will it be MDF?

i say fiberglass it in the back wall\floor... make it REALLY strong and carpet it, this way you can make a nice portion of it on the floor and people can stand on it and such... maybe make the floor out of MDF and then L shape it up to the wall, and do the subs 'volcano' style and port out the top =)

but your 'step' suggestion should work great i guess. id say 2 RE\KODA 8"s portd to ~33hz should be quite hard and leave plenty of room (specialy extra room with the RE8's only need .3 ft^3 i think per driver- the kodas will hit harder but i think they need ~.55ft^3)

well i wish i had the money to make it fiberglass, but unfortunitly i wont. i'll probably have around 400 for the box, so i think its just gunna be custom built out of and carpeted. I appreciate the suggestions tho. But instead of the 8'', im gunna hvae 2 12'' R's.
