I bought a refurbed 512 shuffle last summer. Buying it from apple.com gave me a 1-year warranty. 3 months later it goes dead. The left channel just quit working in my headphones. Sure enough, it was the ipod's fault. I called up Apple today and they’re sending me a new one. No questions asked. They’re sending it in a box, which I’ll use to ship my bad shuffle. I already have one of the new smaller shuffles, so my mom will get this one.
Also sent back a 1000/1 to JL today on warranty. My advice: get all your JL stuff authorized and installed.
