So say you have a sub that needs 4 cubic ft ported....and you make one box tune to 30hz 2 cubic ft and the sub is inverted then you make another box around it thats 2 cubic ft and its tuned to 40hz......what would the outcome be lol I just though of this of the top of my head I never seen it done

So bascially it's just a box inside a box? Basically just a ported box firing into another ported chamber, also known as a series tuned 6th order BP.

Not if one box is inside the other, like he suggested. That'd mean the port of the main box would be firing into the other box, making it series tuned.

I interpreted it as thumper said. I thought when he said inverted that means the face of the cone firing into a ported box, then another one around the ass of the sub ported going off the back side of the sub.

Lol I see where it can be confusing tho. But the way I'm thinking is exactly like those pictures.

When he said "around it" I thought he meant around the whole box causing the main port to fire into the chamber of the other box, not just "over" the back end of the sub.
