Many people keep emails with vital info for various accounts to other sites. Hacking a GMAIL account can be a doorway to many other fruits from the individual. Far from pointless.

only good things i've ever gotten from emails was other account names/info (not passwords necessarily, but many times i did get passwords/accounts from incoming/outgoing emails to friends family etc) got into this *****s account who was ****ing with me and was having her BF call me threatening to kill me, so just to be a dick i got oon her gmail, saw they exchanged passwords, got on his email, sent some pretty nasty emails to his (and her) parents, family, church members (did the same with her acct) then found out her password was the same for everything, ****ed with her myspace/facebook (which apparently was her life cause it pissed her off)... ahh good times in high school LOL

Indeed, most accounts will yield you little, but trust me if you hack hundreds, you will find a few gems that produce. Hacking also relies on numbers. There are some pretty stupid people out there.

yeah. i ended up getting into some trouble so i kinda strayed away from ****ing with peoples shit (i relapsed for the deleting senior papers from teachers email, but.... shit i never got to do a senior prank so i consider that my prank //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif) i think like a week after I got the letter with a court date and shit (I had just turned 15 actually... couldnt drive yet lol) I picked car audio as my new hobby //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

moral of the story, dont be stupid and get caught. never did figure out how I got caught but I didnt bother to ask I got the charges dropped and that was the end of it hahaha.

Even if the passwords and such aren't in the gmail account, you can go to websites and reset passwords which are then emailed to the account. Hacking an email account is a gateway to royally fucking someone. It alone won't gain you much, but can lead to goal.

x2, this is true. many many many accounts are usualy linked to one persons email.

in 2001 i had an account hacked from Onchat.com somehow they syphoned the password out of that account, that was linked to my email, that was linked to everything i had on the internet. i lost about 13 accounts and had my webpage completely ereased. i couldn't retrieve most due to change of password and security questions. i did manage to get my email back. which i still use, lol, if someone was to hack into my account, they'd have a hard time finding the good emails having to filter though a good 11,000 spam emails that i don't delete.

yeah it's amazing what kind of personal information people will leave lying around. Like the idiots who use limewire and junk not realizing it uses "my documents" and such as default share directories.. putting all the docs you may have out to the world.

There are some also pretty fucking stupid automated mailers out there too that send people their password, credit card info, and god knows what else back to them occasionally (lets say if someone changes a password on a clothing website, and to verify the pw change they send your gmail account your info again to verify). This would give you ample info to **** someone digitally.

yeah getting caught sucks. Got in trouble my junior year for "gaining or attempting to gain unauthorized access to school district computers" suspended for a week and off computers for 19 days. Punk *** vb teacher was a dick about it too. I came in and asked if i could just take the book home since i had VS at home and he said "no that's what hackers get"

i was contemplating some things in our east lab this year (always wanted to do a logic bomb, that would confuse the shit out of them...)... i ended up just getting access the last period of MY last day to the server (I was the head network admin in those 2 computer labs... there were like 4 helpers in other periods...) and I deleted all the shit i knew they were using for the senior video (2 days later, ****ing procrastinators)...so yeah, needless to say at the senior breakfast they didnt have any video hahahaha bishes.

I'm sure you've seen stuff about bot nets, etc right? Well when you get a bot source, if it's public it's probablly already detected by most antivirus software. People sell programs called packers and crypters that will take your source and make it Fully Undetectable by any and all antivirus software, along with anti VM and anti sandbox.

LMAO. i got bored so much there. I had 4-5 (5 first semester, 4 second semester) hours of computer classes every day. I found some simple batch files an admin about 3 years before me mad, just basic shut down, cancel shutdown, net send's, shit like that, dont remember too much since i didnt make them, just edited the computer and ran them... just enough to **** with people. i remember the day i found out my bish gf was cheating on me, she was in the middle of doing some gay *** slideshow and i shut down her computer.... it wouldnt let her save or anything. payback hahahaha.
