You are mistaken. The game library for true gamers may seem weak, but the unit and technology is unique and hackable. It is a good toy to play with. I enjoy the interactiveness of the wiimote and nunchuck. I am not a hardcore fps and eye candy person though. The ability to software hack and do limitless things with this unit attracts me more than the others. However I think having one of the others with a Wii is a good combo if someone was interested in this level of tinkering. The homebrew scene is huge for the Wii.

lol i own all 3 systems and the wii IMO DOES ****! lol I play basically my 360 mainly b/c the games are better and i have it hacked just like my wii. The main reason I don't play my ps3 is b/c I actually have to buy games. How bad is that? lol

Does the 360 allow you to play emulators as well? and write your own applications WITHOUT A CHIP?
If so I am not aware of it and it may be something to look into.
nope, but i have a pc or my dreamcast for the emu's. YES I said dreamcast!

Love the dreamcast. For the same reason I love the Wii. You can hack the DC to death. I had much fun with it back in the day. I used to PC game, but lost interest when VC prices just got absurd and chasing to keep up wasn't worht it anymore. the console aren't on par, but also aren't far behind and have a larger library.
yea, i know exactly what you mean i feel the same way. now, don't get me wrong the wii can be fun, but it's too kidie most of the time for me. But i mean I DO own one so I don't discriminate. Gave 'em all a chance
