H2 vs XXX

agreed..

reading upon others notation isn't a bad thing.. that way you'll get an all around feel of the sub..

best way to find out.. listen to them yourself.. only you can really decide which one best fits you... remember that you'll be the person listening to your system day in and day out.. what others might find good might not be for you.. and vice versa..

Honestly depends what ur going for SQ , SQL , SPL ? gives us some input and i ill give you what ive heard from reliable sources and ive heard the W7 personally suppose to hear the H2 soon. XXX i havent heard yet but i know a few gusy who have that i trust their word //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

ok i am not trying to be a d**k but there have been countless posts on each of those subs so use the search button...and like shinobi said it depends what your are looking for in the sub(s) sq sql or straight up spl

I have owned H2's and xxx's. Never had a w7 but I've heard plenty. I would take the w7 if all the prices were equal but as you know they're not!!! Just depends what your looking for I guess, the xxx costs about $100-$150 more then a h2 and aren't any better IMHO. H2's work best in smaller boxes where xxx's like big boxes

BAH!!!! Based on what? Power handling? Xmax? Price?Spl/SQ? I won't say one is better then the other but the h2 is quite a bit cheaper
Price is about the only thing the H2 beats out the XXX in.

The H2 has a rather weak motor...and is extremely picky with enclosures...3 cubes tuned to 30...that's pretty much it, lol...

I love guys that flame because the time they spent saying that they could have easily helped. If you dont want to help i understand but shut the hell up. Okay i am honestly not sure what i am looking for this is all new to me. I had 2 10's but want to save a little space. I listen to hip hop so if that changes things. Would one work better with my sub the jbl bpx1200. What is each sub made for as far as sq spl etc..

thanx for all the help guys.

Take a look at http://forum.sounddomain.com/forum/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=11;t=071412#000000 - good comparison of the XBL^2 motor and Step Technologies' approach (as licensed by DEI). You'll see that the XBL^2 motor has lower distortion, and all the higher harmonics are considerably lower (the spectrum of the higher harmonics is the major driver in terms of subjective performance) than the Step Technologies approach (which is used in all the DEI Dual Gap designs, including the H2).
