I beat every song in it within a try or two but I am ****ing STUCK as HELL at Raining Blood. I killed One first try and shit but raining blood owns me.

the final boss battle is insane on expert

got 80% through through the fire and flames...

I'll agree it's a lot easier if you know how the songs goes then if you've never heard it. If you know it you can at least keep with the tempo and know what changes are coming.
