Only one of those coils are actually not functional, the RD on the left is toast (actually has a 1" hole on the other side of the former) while the TC 5200 coil's spiders caught on fire and almost burned down my jeep, and the APXX coil is brand new.

I wanted to see what was in an APXX vs. a RD SHW since they're from the exact same buildhouse - so I ordered a APXX coil //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif I was shocked to see only one spider on the APXX //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

cant be dd 9500 series they use more spiders. Maybe a RE MT

none of the coil windings on any of the coils pictured have failed. It was different issues on the two bad ones shown there. The TC 5200 coil's tinsel leads caught on fire, and the RD SHW coil had a tinsel lead melt on it. Both drivers had 5kw to each.

Wow so with 5k the coils are still great. Good to know that they can handle some power.
