from what i have read yes

as far as loud i think on that power its hard to tell

but on more the aq will win

i take that back on that power probably the two 15's

if u have the room for two that seems like the best for u

If room is absolutely not a factor, the 2 MAW's should get louder. And possibly sound better because they would be pushed much less than the single HDC to achieve the same SPL due to double the cone area (though I never heard either sub.)

Maws should sound better as stated....the hdc3 will need more than 1400 watts to get loud....I am pleased with my hdc3 as a dd and think it is a great overall sub, but I have 2200watts on it and it definately wants more

Through the many different boxes I have tried over the years in my old explorer, rear fire/side port or rear fire/rear port is the best for me on daily listening. When you are working for output, CRX style; up fire/rear port or drivers side fire/ rear port. But only way to know for sure is testing.
