It's not going to do 1250 at .5ohms with 60 amps worth of fusing...you'd be lucky to get the 750 at 1ohm out of it IMO.

This amp will not do 1200 but isn't bad for $35. I had a HC 4000 way back when. The HC line is overrated junk

I agree, wayyyy overated. And i wouldn't even try running that thing at .5 ohms, its garenteed to smoke. Ive seen quite a few ma amps rated at .5 blow at that impedence.

for $35, find me an amp in this condition, that can do about 600rms @ 1ohm and look, in my opinion, pretty clean.

but all i need is 500 rms @ 1ohm! its for another persons Christmas gift really. going to install in brother-in-law's ride for x-mas with two 12" cerwin-vega HED 12.4's
