GTA: San Andreas

I have never seen a game push the envelope like that before

That is the single biggest reason why it sells so well. People have a natural curiosity of contreversy. But when you see an M rating on these games I still can't believe how many bible thumpers still insist on getting this franchise stopped. The problem with these sort of games lies more with a lack of parenting than with a "horribly graphic game.".. If younger kids can't get their hands on them they won't be able to play them.

End Rant. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

so whats the diff between an M and A only rating? lol, 17+ for the M and 18+ for the adults ony lol, EB was selling GTA:SA to 12 year old when it was rated M the first night it came out, so now its a big shit cause the wann 18+ on it lol so what kids are still going to play it anyway and Hillary is only hurting herself

Hillary?? Who are you referring to??

The mod is in the ps2 version as well. If you use a game shark and enter the enable all girlfriend cheat as well as the max *** appeal cheat then all you have to do is take one of em out on 4 or 5 dates and you go back to her place for "Coffee".

even with an adult rating kids would still get their hands on it, but personally I don't think young kids have any business playing it, I mean there are plenty of kids who could play it and act normal, but all it takes is for one 12 year old head case to play it and go out and kill someone and then the media will blame it on the game , I enjoyed San Andreas (as well as all the other GTA games) and look foward to the next GTA game, but seriously with the content san andreas had shouldn't it of been rated adult all along,

not really, because for the simple fact is most parents dont care. hell most of the kids who have the GTA games got em' for christmas. i know when i got my first ps2 it was for christmas.....which came along w/ the game GTA:Vice City. i mean i know kids shouldnt be able to play it, but if the parents dont care, why should the kids. the kids dont know ne better, the rating means nuthing to a kid, the parent is the one who has to imply the whole rating system. w/ a a/o rating im sure parents would be a lil wearry about buying the game, sure. but all it takes is to go to a friends house and play it w/ out parents knowing, or a older brother/sister/relative, hell even a total stranger could buy it for a kid. there is no way the a/o rating would actually stop it from being sold in the way it did. and no way would the a/o rating keep kids from playing the game, yeah it may take a lil longer to get a hold of the game, but all in all ratings dont mean squat these days..... if u dont like what i just said, tell me why, i love debat :p

If that's true, games in the future are gonna cost more to little kids. What I'm thinking about is people that are able to get them, buying a lot of them then goign and selling them to underage kids, like cigarettes or anything like that. I mean maybe not, its just a possibility. No doubt it will happen somewhere.

//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/word.gif.64b12e39f936af3b4fff38a1c0bd0244.gif i totally agree w/ u man, hopefully things will change though. from the way i have seen it on the news, kids dont know how to separate real life from video games...

Yeah I was watching the news about that... and the parent was like "When I purchase a game for my 12 year old son, I would never have thought that he would be exposed to ****** images such as these."

WTF man, you bought ur 12 year old son GTA: San Andreas, where he repeatedly ran over civilians with garbage trucks, slaughtered waves of policemen, slit hookers throats, and got in massive gang wars over *****es and ho's... but thats OK.

but when a pair of ***** pops up on screen... thats completely out of line, how can our children be exposed to such terrible things such as having ***?

People aggrivate me
