GT Stripes on the tC pix

I'm not so sure you know what you're talking about, noob //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Thanks for the almost compliment, and hey, way to be a dickhead on the internet! :p

you guys are no fun =-\

I wasn't trying to be an *******. I was just giving my honest opinion on the matter, in a frank, straight forward manner.
FWIW.
That wasn't directed at you, it was directed at the guy who said I ruined the car :p

Here's a set I did today on a Cobalt SS:

They belong there more than on the tC, I agree //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

No reply was even needed Blake...

If you decide to try them again, I'd suggest a darker grey perhaps.... Maybe make the stipes wider. IDK, sot real familiar with modding tC's.

HEY! Do you have any woodgrain samples laying around that you could perhaps.... take a high res pic of for me? My dad has barely anything woodgrain.

I do like those.. more on the tc than the cobalt.. maybe further apart and a tad wider?? and definately wider on the cobalt but it may just be the wierd "im standing on one leg on the rooftop with a hangover" angle of that picture..very nice and quite an improvement in both cases.. how do you come across this vinyl making? seems like fun

Jason, you're right, I didn't even notice.

Woodgrain samples? Not on me, but I'll see what's out there. I know Alsa has woodgrain for thermoforming, I think that's what DD's using.

I had to give up on the trunk of that SS.. For the life of me, I couldn't get those stripes on straight before it got dark outside.

Because of the way the trunk curves, some stretching and shrinking was involved. I'm gonna try again with a different vinyl.

It's tougher than it looks. And wider vinyl makes it exponentially harder :p

I know my dad and his friend are going to a convention in August or something like that. So I'll have all the wood samples he can find then, but if you know of some off the top of your head I'd appreciate it too.

I'm painting the wagon satin black or something of that nature and I think I'll do the wood in a nice maple or something like that.... dunno, but I'm re doing the wood for sure and it won't be oak again.

I have been thinking about putting those stripes on my car, but I want them painted on. how long did it take you to put them on? Very interested, as I might do the same to my Monte Carlo. Nice job by the way.

My two cents here, but I don't like the SS Cobalts. I think they should have left that one alone when it came to their SS line. That one looks ok though, compared to some that I've seen. The wing needs to either be smaller or gone personally. I saw one with matching interior to the exterior and it just looked retarded. Me and a friend agreed that the driver needed to shoot himself. I'm also not familiar with the mechanical specs of a SS Balt though so they may actually be worth the money in under the hood aspects. BTW, I like the stripes on the tC
