YT= yellow top correct? I can get some grp 31 from Interstate Batteries Company for like 41.00...I think they are refurbished is this still a good deal?

If they are the big, heavy black ones then those are NOT sealed. They are regular lead acid batteries.

Not good for use inside the car's cabin.

easy way to tell....

if it has the 2 caps on top to fill with water = do not use inside the car. (lead acid)

Everything serves it's own purpose and just because a group of people say and/or think something is "useless" doesn't really make it so. i agree with you in some points as far as a beefier electrical system is NEVER a bad thing, regardless of the install. kicker amps are pretty efficient but if said member wants to drop the cash and time to install an extra battery to run a single amp.........more power (literally) to him (and the amp). i do understand what you're saying and where you're coming from but don't agree 100% with all of it (obviously).
