Someone told me you could run your power and ground from the batt. under the hood to the back at the amps? But he said to make sure you strap them as tight and close as u can all the way back to the back. Has anyone heard of this or done this technique? If so let me now. Thanks. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif

ive never heard of anyone actually doing that but you could

i wouldnt see the point to ever do that you want all your wires to be as short as possible for less resistance wich equals less heat which equals less power lost

the average car's chassis is equal to something around 1/0 wire. So unless you're running several thousand watts and need a wire the size of your wrist - the chassis of your car is going to be a better ground than a wire back to the batt. (-).
