What does "grounding the rca's" mean, and how do I do it?

It means attaching one end of a piece of wire to the outer barrel of the RCA connector and the other end to the vehicle's chassis.

Commonly used as a method of removing noise from the signal cables.

It means connecting the shield or "barrel" side of the RCA's to chassis ground.

I do this for both the right and left signal? You guys are totally positive it won't f'up my amp? lol.
