Installed my 12" Q yesterday in the box that B.J. built me. For pics of the build, go here:

The box is awesome, the sub sounds AMAZING and gets extremely loud for one 12. Very impressed with the setup. I'm powering with a Tsunami 1000d, giving it around 1100rms.

Would like to get vids but my phone will not store a reasonable length video, however it takes fairly good pics:

Oh - the box will slide about another 8 inches or so back, but I have my amp temporarily on the ground behind it if anybody was wondering. Pics make it look much deeper because of this.

Thanks guys, I can't carpet worth a dam, and don't have any power tools here...BJ was very reasonable, I'm happy I ended up getting it built. I usually build my own too, but I can't build to this level.

After i tried carpeting, it actually wasn't that difficult.

anyhow, that box looks great. Get a rack for that amp and push that sucker back.

No, B.J., thank you. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

mazdakid, I'd rather have the additional trunk space than have the box sit so far back. If it is any louder further back, I doubt it's going to make much of a difference overall.

well box position is a big part of how it will sound, youd be surprised probably

so how are the lows //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
Unless you've heard a properly setup low end monster in a box tuned to 28hz, you can't even imagine //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Dash jumps a good half inch or so on the low stuff //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Trust me, I've done this a few times. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif A couple dB's isn't a big deal...but I will probably end up leaving it there due to laziness. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif
