I'm new to this stereo stuff but plan to install
a HU i got by myself because it costs too much
to get it done professionally. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif
I got a JVC KD-G420 HU that has a ground wire but the
wire harness that I have for my Nissan
has 2 ground wires, one with the rear speakers
that is specified as just ground and another that
is with the other wires and says is for Chassis
Ground (12V-). The back of my headunit also has a
metal tab on the back that says "rear ground terminal".
What i was thinking I would do is attach the Chassis Ground
to the ground cable from my HU and then attach the
other ground cable to the metal tab? Sorry I really don't have
much of an idea of what I'm doing but hopefully if anyone can help
that'd be great.
this is the back of my HU btw:
