ground wire from stereo head unit.

Hi everyone, I had a questions regarding my new head unit ground wire. There was a black ground wire running from the head unit itself, But my cars (94 sentra) harness didn't have a ground wire in the wire harness, the ground was the antenna wire. Just wondering if I should ground the wire coming off the stereo head unit or is the using the antenna adapter good enough?
