ground resistance

I have never heard of someone measuring resistance like that but it should be 0.0 ohms.

Using only the frame of the vehicle is terrible if using stock electrical on amps at or greater than 1kw.

I would opt for ground run from front to rear but ONLY if you are having problems or potential problems.

you will NEVER measure 0.0 ohms. there is resistance in everything - especially the connections. there is even resistance in the meter leads and between the meter tip and surface.

most meters are horribly inaccurate at low resistance.

to measure low resistances, you use a resistor in-line with the leads. the resistor should be sized to be in the meter's highest accuracy at a 0.01 ohms. some meters won't get that accurate and your best is a tenth.
