I have a 92 Honda accord sedan

In the trunk, there are a couple of rubber plugs

1 really grabs my attention.

I was just wondering if my ground location is a good or bad idea

Rubber plug on right side of trunk

Inside the hole

The hole extends to the bottom frame

My idea was to cover the hole with a circular metal on top. Run a bolt through the middle down to the hole in the frame. Secure it with a bolt nut on the bottom of the frame.

Good or bad? and yes, i know it is dirty :p

This is for an Amp's ground

That should work just fine. Make sure you use sandpaper to remove any paint, needs to be bare metal.
As much of a good job you've done with the extremely detailed pics on your post I'm sure you'll do a good job. I could recommend using a small screw with a washer and nut, this way you'll be secure

Never seen a screw with a washer & nut....now a bolt on the other hand....//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Thx for the input everyone. Hopefully I'll have finsh pics in like.... 4 err.... or 8 months //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

I would recommend using a washer on both ends of the bolt to give a better contact area.

After you are done making the connection, be sure to either spray paint the exterior or put some silicone around it... Since it is exposed completely to the elements.

Good job, that was just a test and you passed. I make mistakes like that at random, just to see if people are paying attention. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif:laugh:

P.S. Thanks for the respectful correction

Another question

Will it matter if I use copper flashing in stack(layers) as the plate, and solder them together?

Or it doesn't matter what type of metal I will use as a plate?

Thx

Single ground. If there is one thing car audio proves it's that the saying "Ground is ground the world round" is complete BS.

I'm guessing that's what it is. There's not a lot of room back there.
