ground issues

i am haveing grounding stress. i have been looking for a good ground in my trunk. i changed the batts in my dmm. i would test some times i get 00.0 and other times i get numbers with huge diffrents. the o.l in the same place. what the best way to get a great ground in the trunk. i dont have a frame its is a uni-body

please help and thank for doing so. i got no beat right now and wires everywhere need to get this back togeather soon any pointers would be wonderful thanks
