So tryn to put a new head unit in my o4 trailblazer and my wire harness has a ground wire but the harness of the head unit has a long ground wire with a terminal on it to be bolted to a piece of metal which i had to do in my other vehicle this headunit was in because of no ground from wire harness. So i guess my question is should i cut the terminal wire and splice it to the aftermaket wireharness ground or just cap the aftermarket wire harness ground and bolt the terminal in. Please lemme know asap as im trying to get it done tonight

If this is in the sticky I’m sorry but if you haven’t tried grounding the hu frame to the metal in front of it in your dash, that’s a good idea.

Single ground. If there is one thing car audio proves it's that the saying "Ground is ground the world round" is complete BS.

I'm guessing that's what it is. There's not a lot of room back there.
