ground in boat

i am installing a kicker zx 650x4 with 4 gage wire my question is the ground is 9 feet long can i use 4 gage power wire and 0 gage ground.

yeah going overkill on ground sure isnt going to hurt

that would be fine. I would reccomend using 1/0 for everything so you dont have to tear up the boat again when you need to upgrade in the future,, which def will happen as equipment has a shorter life on boats.
