Southeast Region Ground gauge

I have nvx 1/0 wire but am adding a Nvx 1.0 farad cap and was curious if I could use a smaller ground with my 1/0 power wire . I’m thinking 1/0 gauge into ground block and 4 gauge out to amp and cap .

0 gauge power and ground all the way to the amplifier.
