ground for amp

wut is the best place to ground an amp in a 89 jeep grand cherokiee the amp is under the back seat im kind of new at this ive only put one other amp in my old truck and i just used the seat bolt but didnt know if anything was better to use

in my 89 jeep i had it bolted down under the rear seat. drilled throught the floor, sanded the paint, put a bolt throught with a nut, then siliconed it up.

well i was thinking about using the factory seat bolts instead cuz that would be much easier

As long as it's a good ground, the seat bolt works fine. Sand down to bare metal and seal over it when doen to prevent any rust.

^ x2. So long as its a clean ground, the seatbolt should do well. If you do it anywhere else, just make sure you sand down to bare metel, and the ground is good and tightly bolted down.

well i had to put a switch on my amp to turn it on and off but im getting a constant red light shouldnt that me green

Power LED color varies with the brand of amp. Some are green, some are red, some are yellow or even blue. There is no standard. Does it work?
