I just got my system all hooked up and was wondering if the green light on my amp is supossed to be on all the time even after my car is turned off and the keys are out? If not will this run down my battery AND How can i fix it?

I Just dont wanna walk out in the morning to a dead battery.

:?: I just went out to disconnect my power wire so my car will actually start in the morning but the green light wasnt on. Either I was seeing things or idk... guess i'll keep an eye on it for the next couple days. thanks for the quick reply Brandontw

Remote wire. Usually a little blue wire.

When you turn your head unit off, your amp will turn off. No dead battery. Never have to remove your power wire again.

some amps take a bit of time to discharge the board. light may stay on a second or two at the most. otherwise 90% says, you have the remote wired improperly.
