Stared who has come to be known as the international bad ***, and the iconic drill-instructor: R. Lee Ermey, or Ermy, or however you fcking spell it.

Then they made an HBO mini-series based off of it.

If you get it in your thick little skull that maybe, somehow, they made a movie based off the HBO mini-series... the movie was filmed in 1987, or '88. Somewhere in that time period.

And it is, by far, the most iconic war movie. I'd even go as far as saying one of the first which all war movies follow now a days.
you really got something up your *** tonight

Read the thread about what we're up to Friday night.

I'm just bustin' balls. It's really easy and really satisfying.

I want to emphasize easy... since the lot of you are really dumb, for the most part.

Think the most important thing to mention is the great Mr. Stanley Kubrick.

He was saying Band of Brothers is a mini-series, not Full Metal Jacket genius;)

And most iconic war movie? I beg to differ. Apocalypse Now (even if it is based on a book about imperialism, not war) is by far the best war movie I've ever seen. Granted, there are an absolute TON of great war movies out there, so it's hard to pick.

FAIL.

He was referring to Band of Brothers, not Full Metal Jacket. Looks like you are the one who is "really dumb".
