Yup, I wouldn't use it as a standalone, but its a great addition to a full deadening job for small cavities and open spaces.

Be careful with the stuff though, its messy and can really expand and get outta control. If your working with small areas get the minimal expanding kind (doors and windows version I believe)

I used a dozen cans in my Civic to fill in the massive side cavities... but as was stated you gotta be CAREFUL or it can bust spot welds, bend panels, etc. I applied mine about 2" at a time and gave it 24 hours per layer to dry.
